New Updates To GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

We are excited to start the new year with some new updates to the GrowthLoop platform.

new A brand new audience export modal

If you are familiar with our audience exporting, you know the export modal felt a bit dated compared to the rest of the GrowthLoop app. Well, that's not the case anymore!

We have a new and more sleek look and feel when you try to export your audience with more capabilities. Everything from searching for your desired destination, setting your match fields and even more granular scheduling capabilities are here.

Let's run through exporting an audience to Google Ads to see the new changes.

Use the search bar to find the right destination you want to export to:

Then set the appropriate match fields:

Then fine-tune your exporting schedule by selecting the frequency of your export

And finally set the days (eg, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays) you want the export to go out.

new Audience breakdown cap is removed

When it comes to better understanding your targeted audiences, you can use our Breakdown feature to better understand their distribution such as by states, or what % of them are season ticket holders or not.

Up until now, you could only have up to 4 breakdowns per audience, which now is increased to.... well as many as you want.

Note Please keep in mind that loading an audience page will reload their breakdowns as well. This can lead to additional calls to your data warehouse and can add up to your costs if you're not careful. However, we are currently working on introducing an explicit refresh button, to prevent the auto-reload behavior of breakdowns moving forward.

new  Databricks as a new data warehouse

If you're in charge of data in your organization, this feature if for you. If you're not, please forward this email to your appropriate colleagues.

Up until now you could connect GrowthLoop to connect to either a BigQuery or Snowflake warehouse. However, we've introduced support for Databricks as a new warehouse that you can ingest customer, transactions and event data from and build your audiences on top of.

If you're interested in enabling Databricks for your organization, please contact your GrowthLoop support team and they can take care of that for you.

new Two small but mighty improvements

To finish the list of updates we have 3 more things to share with you. They're small improvements, but if you've needed them, you'll appreciate their mighty impact in your workflow.

1. Command-click to open an audience in a new tab

Every time you're on the Audiences page, you can hold the command button and click on the audience to open it in a new browser tab. This saves you a lot of time when you're quickly going through different audiences in the same session.

2. Show signal count for datasets

When you're on your Datasets page, you now have a new column (in the table) that tells you how many signals depend on that dataset.

We hope these additions to the platform are valuable to you and that you get to put them to good use sometime soon.

New Updates To GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

It's the end of the year and we wanted to close the year with some new and exciting updates. Let's get to them!

new Submit product requests in the app

Starting now you can easily submit your product requests (bugs and new feature) right from GrowthLoop without having to write an email. Next time you log into GrowthLoop, you'll notice a new option in the left hand menu, labeled Product Requests.

Click the menu and you'll be presented with the simple form above, where you can choose between a bug or a feature request. Please choose accordingly and include as much detail (and screenshots if applicable) for us to better understand and address your requests.

newGranular scheduling of Audience Exports

You can now define much more flexible Audience Export schedules. Imagine exporting your audinece with a specific start and end time, where exports only take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The possibilities are endless here and we're slowly turning this feature on for all accounts in the new year. However, if you're keen to gain early access, please contact solutions@growthloop.com and we'd be happy to enable that feature for your account.

new Delete User Datasets

Do you have lots of test datasets of type User that you don't need anymore and would like to clean up? Well, you can now!

Head over to GrowthLoop and click Datasets (menu) -> Datasets (tab) and if you click on the "..." menu to the left of a Users Dataset, you'll see the "Delete Dataset" option in the menu.

Please note that if you try to delete a Users Dataset that's being used by an Audience, Journey or Signal Route, you'll be prompted with an error to first delete those depending entities, before you can delete the dataset.

We hope you find these updates useful and more importantly we wish you happy holidays. We will be back with more exciting updates in 2024.

New Updates To GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

We have some exciting updates to share with you this week, which are both visual and functional.

new Datasets & Dataset Groups

Some of you have asked for a more seamless interface and user experience when it comes to setting up and managing your Datasets & Dataset Groups. We hear you and have started on a journey to revamp that area of the product visually, with additional functionality.

For a simple star, we've split the Datasets & Dataset Groups into 2 separate tabs. You can also see that our Dataset Groups look more compact with additional information such as the names of datasets in them as well as the number of audiences built on them.

new Same look with extra powers - Refresh Schema

If you navigate to Organizations -> Storage you'll see this Refresh Schema section. The button looks the same but it now resolves some previous issues listed below:

If in the past you were not finding the new field that you just added to your underlying table in GrowthLoop Audience Builder, Datasets or Signal Router, hitting the Refresh Schema button should fix it.

new Global exit criteria for Journeys is here

When setting up a new journey on GrowthLoop, you now have an option to define an audience as your global exit criteria. What this means is that as soon as anyone in the journey enters your global exit audience, they're automatically removed from the journey.

new You can now define match-fields on your DV360 exports

If you've started using DV360 as a destination and are exporting to it, you can now define more match fields on your Contact and Device objects.

When exporting, click on the Settings tab and you'll be presented with fields you can match on for each object type.

Enjoy these updates and hope you get to start putting them to good use.

New Updates To GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

Sit back and get ready for some exciting updates on GrowthLoop!

New GrowthLoop turbo has been released

Without going into all the detailed engineering work required to make the app much much faster, you can now enjoy a snappier GrowthLoop.

Go ahead and try loading your audiences, datasets or any other section of the app and we'd be surprised if don't notice significant speed improvements.

new  Export your audiences to 3 new major destinations

We know destinations are where your customers get activated. So we have 3 new major destinations to expand your marketing campaigns to. Here they are:

1. Adobe Experience Platform

2. Display & Video 360 (DV360)

3. Genesys

You can set 1 & 3 up the same way as you do any other destination but for #2 please contact your rep at GrowthLoop to get you started.

New See your personalization fields on audience exports

You set your audience export and 2 weeks later wonder what personalization fields you included in those exports. Well now you can answer that question!

Head over to your desired Audience, click the Export chip and you'll see a newly added column that lists all of the included personalization fields.

new Define your own 'prefix' for personalization fields, when exporting to Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Next time you set up a Salesforce Marketing Cloud destination:

You'll see a new field where you can specify the prefix for personalization fields, at the bottom:

You have 3 options here:

1. Use the system default of "fw" (Recommended)

2. Define your own prefix that's less than or equal to 5 characters

3. Leave it blank

If you decide to leave it blank, please make sure it will not overwrite your data extension values in SFMC.

Hope you enjoy these updates and get to put them to good use.

New Updates To GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

We have a small but mighty update for you.

new Paste a list of comma-separated values in a multi-selector

If you've tried to build Audiences in GrowthLoop, you've probably encountered multi-select drop-down menus (eg, States in the image below), where you can select multiple matching values to segment your audience based on.

And if you had to choose anywhere over 10 values, you probably got tired of clicking the drop-down --> typing your new value --> choosing the desired selection and repeating that over and over again.

Good news! Now you can achieve that in one run, by providing a comma-separated list of selections and pasting that into the search field.

So in the example above, if wanted to segment users who lived in either Alaska or California, you can simply paste "Alaska, California" without the double quotes in the search bar and hit enter.

Even if a value has a comma in it, you can put that value in double quotes and separate it in the list by a comma -- something like this: Alaska, California, "State 1, or 2"

Once you hit enter, you'll see Alaska & California are selected and "State 1, or 2" is also selected as a newly entered value to the list.

We hope this feature starts saving you time when building your new audiences.

New updates to GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

We have lots of new features on GrowthLoop to report on. Let's get to them:

new Marve column descriptions

You can now use the power of AI to automatically generate appropriate descriptions for your dataset fields (aka, table columns). To have this feature turned on, contact your GrowthLoop rep and ask them to enable Marve on your account.

Once Marve is enabled for a specific Dataset Group (DSG) (you need to turn it on for each DSG individually), any audience that you build on top of that DSG will start showing column descriptions as you see in the image below.

new A single view for all audience exports

Now you can see all of your audience exports and impacted customers in a single view. Contact your GrowthLoop rep to have the Activity menu enabled on your account.

Once you navigate to the Activity page, you'll see a list of results as follows:

In the above photo, you can see the:
* Audience Name
* Destination it's exported to
* The status of the export
* Total count of customers added or removed from the list

You can also use the filters above the table to filter for a specific audience or destination or based on the export status:

new You can now export your audiences to 2 new destinations

Similar to all other supported destinations on GrowthLoop, you can now set up new destinations and export your audiences to them. These are:

1. Genesys

2. Liveramp

new Signal Route support for Pardot

You can now set up a Signal Route for Pardot - also known as Marketing Cloud Engagement by Salesforce.

Simply set up Pardot as a destination first and then head over to your Signal Router menu and set up a signal route to Pardot.

New Updates To GrowthLoop

Hey GrowthLoopers!

We have new features and improvements on GrowthLoop to report on.

New Destinations:
1. Rokt - Rokt is the solution that Ecommerce companies are utilizing to provide their customers with relevant offers from top brands.

Signal Route Support for:
1. Rokt
2. Pinterest Conversions

New Composite Keys are here

This feature is a little more on the technical side and it might only be relevant to organizations with more complex data in their data warehouse.

In short, a composite key (in database design) is a candidate key that consists of 2 or more attributes (i.e., table columns) that together uniquely identify an entity occurrence (i.e., table row).

So now you can define composite keys as your unique identifier when setting up your datasets in GrowthLoop.
