Whats New in Flywheel?
Hey Flywheelers!
Check out some hot off-the-press releases to your Flywheel environment. We have added some exciting new functionality both to the datasets page and your audience building experience!
NEW Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Tags
Do you want to restrict which fields your team can use for audience building? Fields like phone number and email are most often not needed for audience segmentation, but are needed in your connected datasets for matching to destinations like Facebook or Braze. Now in Flywheel, on your datasets page you can now tag any field as a PII field. Check it out below, simply create or edit an existing dataset and apply a PII tag to prevent that field from being used in your audience builder.
NEW Unsupported Field Types
Also on your datasets page, we've added automatic detection for unsupported field that cannot be used in audience builder. When editing or creating a new dataset, you'll be warned of all unsupported field types for your specific warehouse. These tables can still be connected, but won't be available in your audience builder
NEW Audience Naming Restrictions
To prevent issues in your downstream destinations and filesystems, we've implemented standard alphanumeric character limitations on your audience names. Non supported character type entry will result in the warning below
NEW Audience Review V2
Check out our new and improved audience review page! Want to setup audience approvals and reviews before exporting to your destinations? this is your one stop shop!
As always, we've also made some improvements and bug fixes:
- FIX Google Adwords API version updates
- FIX Nested audience exclusion query support
